However the shaming of people willing to buy a restaurant’s food and bring that brand into their home is bullsh@t. Calling them lazy or small business killers because they don’t pick up the phone, call in an order or drive to pick it up…and then those same restaurant operators login to an app or text in their food purchasing. They don’t call the farm and drive to pick up their produce or meats. Those farmers could just as easily throw the same shade towards the restaurant industry. It seems a majority of the negativity that’s thrown around (or at least instigated) is by operators who either didn’t know how to strategically implement delivery and got burned...or by those who haven’t tried at all due to hearing all the “horror stories” and prefer to focus on the 10% of orders that are delivered late and/or cold instead of the 90% that aren’t.
